They cover the 54 launch-revealed players only and ignore in-game upgrades and special cards. Our short takes are opinion, not official data.
Strikers and wingers
TGS take: Mbappé and Haaland share the top launch rating. Behind them the 90 group mixes pure finishers with wide runners, so pick by the role you need, not only the number.
Midfielders
TGS take: Four midfielders start at 90 and they cover every job, from Rodri sitting deep to Bellingham arriving in the box.
Defenders
TGS take: Paris and Arsenal own the top of this list. Full-backs are rarer than centre-backs at this level, which makes the top full-backs extra valuable.
Goalkeepers
TGS take: A clear order at launch. Keepers count fully toward squad rating, so the top names here double as SBC rating boosters.
Women's top players
TGS take: Barcelona and Spain dominate the top tiers, but the strikers further down are where a lot of the pace is.
