About & sources

Top Gaming Society (formerly FIFArinio) is a video game channel and fan site run by Fire Empire LLC. We post gaming facts on YouTube, write original game guides, and sell our own merch.

Where the ratings come from

The FC 27 database uses the EA SPORTS FC 27 official ratings published by EA: overall rating, position and alternate positions, club, league, nation, all 34 attributes, skill moves, weak foot, preferred foot and PlayStyles (with EA's own PlayStyle descriptions). We re-check EA's ratings page about once a week and keep a snapshot each time, so the New cards page can show which ratings went up or down. Data last checked 2026-10-02.

These are base cards. Ultimate Team promo cards (such as Team of the Week) are not published on EA's ratings page, so they are not in the database. EA does not publish height and weight for FC 27 yet. Ages are worked out from EA's listed birth dates. Player ratings and PlayStyles: EA SPORTS FC 27 official ratings. Top Gaming Society is not affiliated with EA SPORTS.

FC 26 archive

The FC 26 archive keeps last year's 52 launch ratings, from Sports Illustrated, Dexerto, GOAL and Sky Sports. FC 26 positions outside the top 10 are each player's widely reported primary position.

Card art and images

The card frames on this site are our own design drawn in code, not official card artwork. In the FC 27 database, player portraits, nation flags, club badges and PlayStyle icons are displayed straight from EA's ratings site, the same images EA shows on its own ratings pages; we do not copy or re-host them. Player photos in the FC 26 archive come from Wikimedia Commons under free licenses (Creative Commons or public domain) and are credited on that page.

Guides

All guides are written by Top Gaming Society. They describe general strategy and are not official instructions.
